COLIN WILKEN

Colin Wilken is the Terminal Manager responsible for the overall administrative duties at the Swartkops Terminal and liaison with TFR, TPT, Mining agents, Contractors, managing skills development of personnel and monitoring running of trains from the mines to STC etc. Colin brings a wealth of experience, having worked in Transnet Freight rail for many years and held various managerial positions such as: managing Marshalling Yards, Client Service Centre and Area Planning Office, Train- and Locomotive Scheduling and Monitoring Office on the manganese corridor. Nothing is too BIG a job for Colin to achieve and innovation is the name of his game!

REINETTE KLEINHANS

Reinette Kleinhans is the Company Secretariat, Group Accountant & Human Resources Manager responsible for overall preparation and consolidating financial statements, management of accounts, review debtors/creditors, prepares annual budgets, consolidated view of budgets for management etc. Works closely with Steve Kapp(MD). Mrs. Kleinhans brings wealth of experience having worked in several Auditing / Accounting firms where her career began in 2005. Mrs. Kleinhans commenced in the role of an Accountant in 2008 for JP Smit Familie Trust and was promoted to a Group Accountant and Human Resources Manager in 2014.

ISEBEL VISSER

Isebel’s career began in 1979 at The Old Volkskas Bank as a Clerk where then she progressed to Head of Department. Her career ventured to various other industries such as Engineering, Tyres, Security, Motor Dealerships, and Conveyor Maintenance. Isebel and her family moved to Port Elizabeth where she joined the STC in September 2014 as a Plant Accountant. She implemented the procedures for analysing incoming traffic by road and rail and ship-loading activities. In a nutshell, she created the Management Information System. Isebel is an enthusiastic sports star and currently a fervent golfer who may even consider turning professional. She also played provincial Badminton for 45 years and received her South African colors in the Veteran, Master & Grand Master age groups.

WILLIE STEYNBERG

Willie Steynberg is the Operations and Logistic Manager. He coordinates operations on the premises, managing the stockpile (incoming and outgoing Manganese), heads up maintenance/ repairs, liaise with shipping agents and control ship loading process etc. Mr Steynberg began his career in 1980 with Transnet Port Terminals and held mostly Container business positions such as: Planning Manager, and Regional Planning Manager in the Eastern Cape Terminals before moving to Multi-Purpose Terminal in Port Elizabeth heading up a role of Chief Logistics Manager.

NTHUSENG GOODWIN

Nthuseng took on the role of Marketing Manager in January 2017, responsible for Client liaising with the mines and Transnet, inventory functions, strategic support, networking and finding new opportunities. Assisting the industry and Transnet by filling identified gaps. Nthuseng's career began with Nu Venture Media, an Out of Home Advertising Media house, in 2012, producing some of the more venerable and OOH Billboard adverts in Gauteng and other provinces.  Nthuseng obtained her Media Tertiary Qualification at Boston Media House in 2011 where she majored in Advertising, Marketing, PR & Radio. In 2015, she joined Continental Outdoor Media – Known as JC Decaux. She also later  studied Supply Chain Management  through UCT.  

TEM VISSER

Tem Visser is the Material and Maintenance Manager, in charge of handling material from the tippler to the loading of the skips. He also oversees the maintenance and repairs of the tippler, conveyor belt, skips, weighbridge and any new installation on site. Mr Visser previously worked with various companies and held positions as Fitter and Turner, Foreman, Quality Controller and later Technical Director.  Mr Visser has coordinated and introduced the ISO Program in various companies.

MGCINISI BILAYI

Mgcinisi began his career in 2001 in the Security industry where he spent 14 years. He was deployed as a security guard at STC. In June 2015, he responded to a vacancy at STC and took on the role of Operations Assistant. Soon thereafter, in the September of 2016, he was promoted to the position of Operations Supervisor. During the course of 2018, he was again promoted to Assistant Logistics Manager. Mgcinisi has always had a keen interest in Operations and Logistics
